Summer 2021 Operating Updates:
Our 2021 Adelphi Pool Schedule is now available. We will share additional operating details soon.
The Adelphi Pool Board remains committed to the health and safety of its members and strives to create an environment that maximizes enjoyment of the pool while minimizing COVID-19-related risk. After reviewing the current County guidance on pool operations and consulting with our management company and other local pools, we have elected an open-access policy for members in 2021. Members will be able to visit the pool any time during operating hours; there will be no assigned time slots or reservations. We expect to remain in compliance with current capacity restrictions and other County guidance, provided members maintain appropriate social distance between households while at the pool.
To facilitate cleaning and contact tracing, we have made significant modifications to our schedule. Please review our hours carefully as the pool will have scheduled closures during the day.
- The pool will open at 10:30 AM daily.
- Opening Weekend (May 29-31) will have a special holiday schedule, with 90-minute time blocks. After each 90-minute block, the pool will close for 30 minutes, and all members must exit the back gate with their belongings.
- On June 1, we will begin our regular schedule. The pool will open for Morning, Afternoon, and Evening Sessions, and will close between sessions, from 1:30-2:00 PM and 4:30-5:00 PM, daily. All members must exit with their belongings through the back gate when the pool closes.
- The pool will close for the day at 7:30 PM Sunday through Wednesday and at 9:30 PM on Thursday through Saturday.
- Any changes to the schedule will be posted on the website and communicated via email.
We need all members to help our open access policy be a success. Please take full advantage of our spacious grounds and be mindful of the distance between yourself and those not in your household.
We will review attendance data and member feedback and make adjustments to our schedule and policies as needed. More operational details will be available soon and will be shared on our website and by email. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about operations at our Membership Meeting on May 12 at 7 PM.
