About our Pool

The Adelphi Swimming Pool is a private, membership-only pool located in Adelphi, Maryland. Our members come from the surrounding towns of Adelphi, Beltsville, Greenbelt, University Park, Hyattsville, College Park, Takoma Park, Silver Spring, Riverdale and Washington DC. Surrounded by trees and open spaces, the pool facilities are among the most pleasant in the area. During the 2023-24 off-season, we replaced our main pool and baby pool with three NEW pools, a 50-meter Olympic size pool with 25-meter bump out, diving well, and slide, as well as a beach access intermediate pool and fenced in baby pool and play area for our youngest members.

The pool has a bathhouse with locker rooms, showers, and a snack bar. The bathhouse is fully handicap accessible and has eight showers in the women’s locker room and five in the men’s locker room. The pool also has plenty of places to sit and relax or enjoy a picnic lunch — choose shade or sun! On the hill overlooking the pool is a shaded picnic area where families can enjoy food from home or cook out on one of the pool’s grills.

The pool offers swimming lessons at the beginning of the season for your little ones, a swim team for the older kids, yoga and barre for those of us needing a little more exercise. The pool also offers volleyball, ping pong, Foosball and corn hole toss.
