Free class update from Karin Jackson:

This year I will have a synchronized swimming class the week of June 27th to July 1st (5 days) from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. The class is free to Adelphi members and costs $5.00 for non-members (for pool admission). All swimmers must be comfortable in deep water. All ages welcome. Noseclips will be available for purchase for $2.00 or bring your own. A sign up sheet is posted in the entryway.

The menu for Charlie's includes: hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, and salmon burgers.

Charlie’s is run by the swim team and proceeds from Charlie's fund swim team activities.

Summer swimming starts tomorrow! Please join us for the first practice of the season at 5 and/or 6 p.m. We've had some very warm weather these past few days, so the water should be perfect! Don't worry if you haven't registered yet. There are registration forms at the pool and Lynn and I will be at practice tomorrow to help anyone who still needs to register.

The Adelphi Pool opens for the big splash at 10:00am Saturday May 28, 2011.

Hello Pirate Dolphins!

WELCOME BACK! I hope you’re all ready for another fantastic swim season! I’ll be serving again as the head coach this year. I am also very pleased to announce that we will be joined by our new assistant coaches, Sara Wilkinson and Carl White. As many of you know, Sara and Carl have been a huge help to the team for years, and I am excited to see them in this new role. I’m so eager to see all of our incredible swimmers again, and to meet the newer additions to our team. This summer, we will be competing in B division. It’ll be competitive, but we did a terrific job last season, and I’m certain we will again this summer.

Please complete the form and send it in prior to the May 2, 2011 early bird deadline to get the best summer rates for the pool! Don’t forget to include your maintenance fee or the entire form will be returned.

Make sure to include your email on this form for summer updates and pool closings when necessary.

Alas, the summer has wound down and it's time to move on to fall activities. The pool is now closed for the season and will reopen in May 2011.

Thank you for your attendance and we hope you had fun at the pool, the answer to the incredibly weltering summer we had.

We'll see you again next year!

We are working on building some email enabled membership and notification into this site. Until that's ready, we will be using Google Groups for email notification and this web site in tandem.
